                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF PATTEN PARKWAY MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN ON FRIDAY, MAY
                   24, 1991 FOR THE DEDICATION OF A PLAQUE ON
                   PATTEN PARKWAY UNDER THE SPONSORSHIP OF
                   CHUBB LIFE AMERICA, UNDER CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS.
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of the east bound traffic lane of Patten 
Parkway
       between Georgia Avenue and Lindsay Street on Friday, May 24, 1991 

       from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for the dedication of a plaque on
       Patten Parkway under the sponsorship of Chubb Life America
       provided that the sponsor shall set out and pick up all flasher
       barricades and traffic signs in accordance with the traffic
       control plan attached hereto and shall provide at all times an
       access lane for fire and other emergency vehicles.
